A&R Policy and Procedure
The A&R Policy and Procedure establishes an alternative pathway for unsigned students and alumni to apply for the Artist Roster, outside of the processes outlined in the Artist Roster Application & Eligibility Policy and Procedure. This policy encourages the record label’s Team Members to actively engage in A&R practices, permits JMC Academic Staff to recommend artists, provides unsigned current students and alumni who are not academically inclined, the opportunity to apply for the Artist Roster, and allows the record label the opportunity to expand clientele to External Talent.
Alumni Engagement Policy and Procedure
The purpose of the Alumni Engagement Policy is to outline the conditions Alumni must adhere to, to retain an active status on the Artist Roster. The policy states that Alumni Artists are required to engage, once a year, with at least one current student in activities pursuant of publicised ventures or publicised works that will be associated with the Artist.
Artist Agreement Policy and Procedure
The Artist Agreement Policy and Procedure outlines the purpose of the Artist Agreement and specifies the essential conditions that must be included within the agreement. The policy ensures consistency in artist agreements with all signed artists.
Artist Roster Application & Eligibility Policy and Procedure
The purpose of the Artist Roster Application & Eligibility Policy and Procedure is to provide a framework for the Record Label’s Artist Roster selection process. The Policy defines the requirements current students and alumni must appease before applying for the Artist Roster, while the related procedures describe the Artist Roster Application process.
Artist Roster Intake Policy and Procedure
The purpose of the Artist Roster Intake Policy and Procedure is to define a framework for the Record Label to accept submissions from unsigned current students and alumni. The policy facilitates an opportunity for students and alumni to submit an application to join the Artist Roster on a periodic basis.
Artist Roster Selection Committee Policy and Procedure
The purpose of the Artist Roster Selection Committee (ASRC) Policy and Procedure is to establish a structured and impartial Artist Roster selection process. The Record Label is committed to ensuring a fair selection process for its Artist Roster. The ARSC will oversee this process, evaluating and selecting artists based on defined criteria.
Exit Policy & Procedure
The purpose of the Exit Policy & Procedure is to provide Artists and Team Members with clear guidance on the processes and conditions involved in leaving the Record Label’s Artist Roster/Team.
Integration with Curriculum Policy & Procedure
The Integration with Curriculum Policy & Procedure outlines the framework for the Record Label’s Artists and team members are to use when seeking collaboration with JMC Academy students on projects associated with academic assessments.
Intellectual Property & Ownership Policy and Procedure
The Intellectual Property & Ownership Policy and Procedure defines the owner of intellectual property associated with Yellow Bus Records and Yellow Bus Records’ Artist Roster.
Master Recording License Policy and Procedure
The purpose of the Master Recording License Policy and Procedure is to inform Artists entering into an Artist Agreement with the Record Label about the requirement to grant a license for Master Recordings published while being representation on the Artist Roster.
Photographs and Video Images Consent Policy and Procedure
The Photographs and Video Images Consent Policy and Procedure informs the Record Label’s Team Members and Artists that from time to time, it will host activities where participants are filmed, photographed and/or recorded, and that photographs, film, videos or audio recordings of their Appearance may be used by the Record Label.
Release Policy and Procedure
The Release Policy and Procedure outlines the framework that governs Artists during the release of works. The policy states all published works must respect the rights and dignity of individuals, are free from defamation and discrimination, and uphold the integrity and values of the Record Label’s brand.
Stakeholder Reporting Policy and Procedure
The Stakeholder Reporting Policy and Procedure defines the reporting responsibilities the Record Label has with JMC Academy. The procedure section outlines a framework that governs the reporting process.
University Resources & Facilities Policy and Procedure
The purpose of the University Resources & Facilities Policy and Procedure is to outline the conditions under which artist’s and team members may utilise JMC Academy's resources and facilities.
Yearly Artist Agreement Review Policy & Procedure
The Yearly Artist Agreement Review Policy & Procedure establishes a framework for the Record Label and its Artist Roster to conduct periodic reviews of the Artist Agreement.
